The interest rate will remain there until the autumn of next year, before it gradually decreases, according to Norges Bank’s forecast. As the committee now assesses the outlook and the risk picture, the policy rate will probably be kept at this level for quite some time to come, the report says. At the previous interest rate meeting on 1 November, Norges Bank decided to keep the interest rate unchanged at 4.25 per cent.
