31 May 2023 at 10:02 Norges Bank cuts krone sales by 100 million in June In June, Norges Bank will buy currency on behalf of the state, equivalent to NOK 1.3 billion daily. That is 100 million less per day than in May. The reduction in krone sales is NOK 100 million less than several analysts had expected. DNB writes in its morning report on Wednesday that it expected krone sales to be adjusted down to NOK 1.2 billion per day, from NOK 1.4 billion now. The krone sale, or exchange, is done to transfer foreign currency to the oil fund, which only invests abroad. Nordea expects the devaluation of the krone to continue and predicts that one euro will cost NOK 12.30 during the summer. Today, one euro costs just over NOK 12. (NTB)
