They call it a “good meeting”. – This was not a meeting to reach any final conclusions. Now we will find the way forward internally, say Stöckl and the athletes in a joint statement to NTB. – We had a good meeting where we talked about the challenges we have. It does not mean that we agree on everything, but we understand each other better, it goes on to say. They do not wish to make any further comments. The national team jumpers, led by athlete representative Johann Forfang, have stated that they want a new management team for the upcoming WC season. Central have been statements about dissatisfaction with coach Stöckl. The trainer was not with the jumpers for the World Cup races in Sapporo at the weekend. It is still unclear whether Stöckl will be seen in Oberstdorf when qualification for ski flying starts there on Thursday.
