The 105-year-old is probably not the country’s oldest, but there is no doubt that the baker’s wife, who is known around Norway, is one of the oldest in Norway. Grønning also became known around the world when the TV chef, Hairy Bikers from the BBC, made a program about her. She admits that she was a little nervous and excited before going to see the royal doctors, but she thinks it went well. – That was nice. It happened so quickly, says Nikka Myren Grønning.
