– For over 60 years, Sportsrevyen has meant an enormous amount to news, and to large parts of Norway’s population, says news sports editor Espen Olsen Langfeldt. – We are very proud of the history of the program and everything we have helped to create of unforgettable sports moments over several decades, adds the sports editor. The historical sports program has been shown on the TV screen every week since 1960 and is a summary of what has happened on the sports front, mainly in Norway. The program is shown on Sunday evenings on NRK1 and usually lasts around half an hour. The sports review is one of the oldest existing TV programs on news. The first broadcast, which aired on 18 September 1960, had Jarle Høysæter and Oddvar Foss as presenters. Since then, several well-known names have led the historical programme. Among them Arne Scheie, Per Ståle Lønning, Karen-Marie Ellefsen, Dag Erik Pedersen and Ida Nysæter Rasch. The sports editor ensures that the good content in the Sports review will live on. The sports editor nevertheless assures that the good content in the Sports Review will live on. – We will continue to tell the good stories, show the breadth and be passionately present on all platforms – on TV, radio and online, he says.
