The danger of a strike is real, emphasizes Lise Olsen, head of negotiations and deputy head of LO Stat. She has announced a first strike for 495 members of Creo and the Norwegian Civil Servants Association (NTL). The mediation comprises a total of 628 members in the two unions. The mediation applies to people who work with TV and radio production, as well as administration in news. Creo-organized members of the Broadcasting Orchestra are also included in the settlement, the association informs NTB. TV and radio production For the public, a strike can lead to reduced supply, but Olsen does not have an overview of the specific consequences of a strike. She emphasizes that news operates with different salary calculations for different groups of employees, and that over time it has accumulated salary differences that they want evened out.
