Many have probably wondered where they can watch the old comedy series they laughed at so much in the 90s and 2000s. Now we can finally have the pleasure of seeing the old news classics again, after negotiations between the rights organization Norwaco and news. – news’s archives are our shared history and part of our cultural heritage, so it is a goal for news to be able to make the archives available to the public, says Ingrid Belt, who heads the news archive. Robert Stoltenberg’s serial success, Borettslaget, is among the series that are now available on news TV. Here in the role of the caretaker Roy Narvestad, together with his sister Ruth. The new agreement was made in April earlier this year, and also embraces various drama series and Christmas calendars. The agreement results in almost all news programs that were produced up to 2015 can be posted on news TV. – We made the first archive agreement in 2014, and we have also come to an agreement with new agreements over the years. The aim of the new agreement is that everything should be available, says Belt. Blood fans have been waiting a long time On the list of series that are now available on news TV, we find, among other things, the comedy successes “Borettslaget”, “Hege og Holmen”, “Slå på ring” and “Hjerte til hjerte”. The latter, with comedian Linn Skåber (52) in the lead, was a smash hit when the first season came out in 2007. Linn Skåber managed to get into the most embarrassing situations in Hjerte til hjerte. The star herself has not seen any of the episodes for many years, but she is constantly amazed at what others remember of the series – even almost fifteen years later. – Over the years, I have met people who knew the lines better than me, or lines that I don’t even remember myself. It’s great fun that the series is still living its life. In season two of heart to heart, Skåber gets a role in the Maridals game. Here together with Jon Øigarden, Gard B. Eidsvold and Janne Formoe. In both seasons, Linn Skåber uses herself as the main character, and we get to know a somewhat more self-absorbed and striving person who is willing to do anything to gain attention. The series was an innovation and came as the first drama-comedy in its genre, where the actor plays a worse version of himself in a documentary format. Although many loved the lady who managed to put herself in the most embarrassing situations, the series had to deal with a couple of critical roars. – There were several people who didn’t understand that it was nonsense and that I wasn’t playing the real me. In a way, the series lived its own life in the production, and it became a separate genre where many could think it was a documentary, says the actor, who remembers one review in particular. She killed me when the series came out, writing: “How can they let such a woman make a documentary about herself”. She hadn’t grasped the concept. She admits that she felt a little afraid that people would think she was as horrible as she appeared in the series. – It was hugely embarrassing In the time before “Hjerte til hjerte” was, Skåber had been in several TV series and theater productions at Oslo Nye teater. But this comedy series was the first she helped make herself, in collaboration with director Marit Åslein and screenwriters Terje Solli and Line Fougner. – The series opened up several own productions. It was the first thing I was involved in creating myself and it laid a foundation for it to be easier to create something later in my career. – Is there anything you remember as extra embarrassing? It was so embarrassing when I went for a walk around Sognsvann with Erik Torstvedt and tried to kiss him. I was really embarrassed, and it was quite small. I also remember when Big Brother winner Lars Joakim Ringom was there, and he played a crazy “stalker”. Linn Skåber looks back at a scene in “Hjerte til hjerte” where she tries to kiss soccer goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt. Skåber both looks forward to and dreads watching all the episodes of the series. Although the humor has evolved since then, she is not nervous that people will not understand the concept of humor. – Today, people are more used to seeing that type of drama-comedy both through “The Office”, “Klovn” and “Helt perfekt”. I think people welcome it that way. Big Brother winner in 2000, Lars Joakim Ringom, also appeared in Hjerte til hjerte. But this is getting to be quite a few years ago now, and I’m looking forward to seeing “Heart to Heart” again.
