Today, the parties agreed to end this, confirms regional director of news Midt, Eivind Undrum Jacobsen. – Tore Strømøy has been an important profile for news with great popular appeal. Now it was right to end the collaboration. Strømøy, who was first employed by news in 1986, is best known for the TV program “Tore på sporet”. He has also worked on several other series such as “Tett på” and “På loffen”. In 2013 he left news, but has maintained a commission contract to deliver programmes. In 2023, he made the program series “No one loves Bamsegut”. The series was later depublished after leaving out an old assault conviction against the main character. District director Marius Lillelien thanks Strømøy for the efforts he has made during his time at news. – For over 30 years, he has left his mark with many public successes.
