26 July 2022 at 14:22 New wolf litter in Østmarka A new wolf litter has been born in Østmarka. This is confirmed by the State Administrator in Oslo and Viken to news. It was at the beginning of July that they received a report that images from a game camera showed at least five puppies, which according to senior adviser Christian Hillmann were born around 1 May. This is the first litter of the the new pair of wolves in Østmarka, and the sixth in the area since 2012. – They will stay together with their parents until next spring, and then they will begin to migrate from the area. Then they like to take longer and longer trips out of the area, and eventually they go their separate ways. But some may also remain in the area. Tispa, who is now a mother, was herself born in the Østmarka district in 2015, and as far as we know, has been there the whole time, says Hillmann to news.
