A new indictment has been issued following the Nav murder in Bergen in September 2021. A 40-year-old man is charged with killing a Nav employee and for attempted murder of another Nav employee. In the new indictment, the wording that the man is considered unaccountable has been removed from the text of the indictment. In connection with the previous indictment, the state attorney stated that as the case is currently reported, there is no basis for a claim for ordinary punishment. In the new indictment, the state attorney maintains that a request for detention may be made.
