Then it was off with the gloves, put the letter in a plastic bag and straight to the police station. – There the police put on gloves and masks, and sent the letter to Kripos, says Tina. The couple hopes the police will find clues that will lead to the sender being caught. news has not yet received a response from the police about the new letter. Several people have received hate letters The police believe that one and the same person is behind the harassment of several people in Valdres. There have been around 15 hate letters to various people in the region, including the Granum couple. – This person has probably been at it for 23 years. Now we hope the person can be held accountable, says Tina. On Instagram they write: “It is now a year since we received the first hate letter. We have been very excited about whether more would arrive in the mailbox. Oh yes. The police launched an investigation after the first letter, but dropped the case in May. The police have previously stated that they believe that one and the same person has written the highly harassing texts for over 20 years. Bring the case in May Police prosecutor Trine Hanssen in the Innlandet police district told news in May that they will be able to reopen the investigation if they receive new and important information. – We have finished the investigation now and handed over the cases to an unknown perpetrator. We have not succeeded in finding the perpetrator. We have now realized that we are not getting any closer to finding the person who sent these letters. The Granum couple then stated that they thought this was sad. At the same time, they expressed understanding that it can be difficult to find the perpetrator. They have also said that this must be a person who needs help. – The person is clearly not healthy, Karoline said in May. It was a topic in the New Year’s speech Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (Ap) mentioned the issue in his New Year’s speech this year. – Next year, we will do like Karoline and Tina.
