6 August 2022 at 16:22 2nd place for Guttormsen in the Diamond League Sondre Guttormsen (23) swung over 5.73 meters in pole vault and ended up in 2nd place in Saturday’s Diamond League event in Poland. Guttormsen managed 5.53, 5.63 and 5.73 in the first attempt, but had to record three rips at 5.83. He thus ended up 37 centimeters behind the recent Swedish world champion Armand Duplantis on the lists. Duplantis needed three attempts at 6.10 meters and gave up after that. In the WC in Eugene in the USA, Duplantis set the world record with 6.21 metres. The track in Poland was rainy after showers earlier in the day. Eivind Henriksen took 4th place in the sledge. He achieved his best result in the 2nd half with 78.48 metres. (NTB)
