Different type of virus than in Central Africa According to Oslo municipality, the case in Oslo is not the same type of virus that was in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2023. – The confirmed case is of Type II, which is the same type that circulated after a worldwide outbreak in 2022 and of which there have been over a hundred cases of infection in Norway in the past.
