The police ask the public to call 02800 in emergency situations. Operations manager in the Oslo police district, Marita Aune confirms to news that they have a problem with the emergency number. – The ICT service of the police is working to find out the error, and as of now it is difficult for me to give a time estimate for when it will be resolved, says Aune. Several of the country’s police districts report the same problem with the telephone lines to the operations centre. The police will come back with more information afterwards, informs acting section chief Geir Arne Nessa in the Directorate of Police.
