The man’s defender, Charlotte Tuven Eriksen, says the 49-year-old has explained himself to the police, but does not want to go into what he has said in questioning. Several scams According to TV 2, there have been several cases of scams involving the elderly in Eastern Norway so far this year. In Kongsvinger, a 77-year-old was defrauded of NOK 38,000. Also in Kongsberg and Skiptvedt, people over the age of 80 have been defrauded. The fraudster has pretended to come from an electricity company, and is thus let inside the door. The man was sentenced to prison in 2016 after 43 cases of serious fraud against the elderly in Sweden.
