Names of people killed in a traffic accident in the Blindheim tunnel in Ålesund have been released – news Møre og Romsdal – Local news, TV and radio

The traffic accident happened in the Blindheim tunnel late Friday night. The police have now released the names of the two women who died, in consultation with the relatives. It was Kirsti Nedregård (51) and Kathrine Krogen (47 years) who died. The third person who was in the same car is critically injured in hospital. In the other car, there were four people in their 20s who came from the accident with minor to moderate injuries. The information the police have so far indicates that this car has crossed into the oncoming lane. The driver of the car is charged with negligence in traffic after the accident. The driver’s license has been confiscated. This is what operations manager John Bratland in Møre og Romsdal police district told news early Sunday. Police believe it was a front-to-front collision, but have not yet concluded.
