Must refurbish Brakka – news Trøndelag – Local news, TV and radio

Two weeks ago, Rosenborg’s match against Lillestrøm was stopped by supporters’ protests against VAR. Now Rosenborg has decided what punishment the involved supporters will receive. They have to help with work when Rosenborg’s club room Brakka no is to be refurbished. The assignment includes scraping down, washing and measuring Brakka. A job that is expected to cost around NOK 400,000, the club itself wrote on its website on Monday evening. – This is a historic event in Norwegian football, and it affects the club’s choice of form of sanction, says Tore Berdal, day-to-day manager of the club. The club wrote that individual supporters were very active in smuggling in tennis balls and distributing them in the stands. – The protest was not directed at the club, but there is no doubt that it is Rosenborg who is left with the consequences. After several protests against VAR, the match against Lillestrøm was called off. Photo: NTB Must be done before October The supporters involved have been given until 1 October to carry out the work. We therefore support the club’s choice of sanctions. That’s according to the leader of Kjernen, Bjørn Skar. – We agree with the club’s management that in the future we will prevent such incidents, so that everyone can safely travel both from Leka and Oppdal, without having to risk matches being cancelled.
