Just before 3 p.m., a motorhome caught fire on the Sandesundsbrua on the E6 in Sarpsborg. At around 15:20, the police report that the fire has been extinguished. – There have been large flames. In that connection, fallout from the burning mobile home has fallen onto Alvimveien, which runs under the Sandesund Bridge. That’s what police operations manager Melissa Krag says. – We have information that there have been people down on Alvimveien, so we have sent patrols there to cordon off the area. No one in the motorhome should be injured. Nor should anyone have been hit by burning material. – Everyone in the car has evacuated and is safe. The emergency services are on the scene, the police report. Both lanes in the direction of Oslo are closed. Bilberger is on his way to the scene.
