The accident occurred when the motorcyclist and a car collided shortly before 6 p.m. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital by air ambulance, and was pronounced dead on arrival, the police in Rogland say. They are currently investigating together with the accident team of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration to clarify the sequence of events. Witness interviews have been conducted on Friday evening. The next of kin have been notified.
