4 July 2023 at 07:19 Moscow’s mayor accuses Ukraine of drone attacks Russian authorities claim to have shot down four drones over Moscow on Tuesday night. According to Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin, several attempts at drone attacks against the Russian capital were carried out on the night of Monday, writes Reuters. Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for Russia’s foreign minister, also claims that there has been an attempted attack on civilian infrastructure and calls it an act of terrorism. The spokesperson claims that, among other things, there have been attempts to hit the city’s airport. This must have led to a temporary shutdown of this. Around 07:10 the airport should be in normal operation again. The mayor claims that all the drones were shot down and that no one should have been injured in the attack.
