The Nordmøringen have five points up to the qualification place with four games to go. With three minutes to go, Faris Pemi knocked the ball into the crossbar, and KBK never got the equaliser. Thus, Kristiansund must start getting points if they are to keep their place in the Eliteserien. They have a tough away meeting with Bodø/Glimt in the next game, before Aalesund (h), Sarpsborg (b) and Jerv (h). The latter is a bottom rival and is fighting to avoid relegation. The match in the last round could be about a renewed elite league contract for both teams. After three straight victories in early September, KBK have now gone four games without three points, they have lost twice. Julius Eskesen was the match winner in Kristiansund with his score before quarter time. Kristiansund pushed for an equaliser, but were unsuccessful and had to endure their 16th loss of the season. Pemi had a huge opportunity when he came alone with FKH keeper Egil Selvik after the break, but the finish went straight to the last chance. Haugesund is in the middle of the table and is virtually assured of a new season in the Eliteserien. They hit back on Sunday after 0-4 for Saprsborg in the previous game.
