In well under 40 minutes, the duo had played their way to their first match point. And the whole match was a demonstration of power from the Norwegian side. For the Norwegian duo played fantastically against Spain in the quarter-finals and got off to a great start to the match. In the end it was 2-0 in the set to Norway. The set scores were 21-16 and 21-17. – It is delicious. Fat cat! It was a blast to play. That was what we were hoping for before we came here, to fight for a medal, says Anders Mol to Max. The 2-0 victory in the quarter-finals means that Norway has not lost a single set so far in the tournament. Spanish Pablo Herrera played in his sixth Olympics and has Olympic silver on his record. But against Norway, the 42-year-old and partner Adrian Gaviria fell short. And Pablo Herrera, who will retire after the Olympics, had to see that he hit his last ball in the tournament at 17-20.
