This made it challenging to get an overview of the large area with demanding terrain. – As of now, ground crews are doing the search. We had a drone and a helicopter in the air last night, but the weather hasn’t cooperated so now the police helicopter is on land at Bøsetra, said Svarstad. DEMANDING WEATHER CONDITIONS: Due to the challenging weather, all searches were done on foot. Photo: Nikolai Gransjøen / news – We are waiting for better weather and that we can eventually use a helicopter, but until then all searches will be done on foot. The operations manager in the Innlandet police district adds that they have strengthened the management team with assistance from the Home Guard and the Civil Defence. – What does it look like in terms of finding the woman safe and sound? – We are positive and the whole crew is keen to make a big effort to find the woman as quickly as possible. It is clear that she is a grown woman and the weather makes it challenging, so we have no time to lose, said Svarstad.
