It happens just over a week after Elon Musk took over the company. The Washington Post writes that the message was given in an internal email to everyone in the company on Thursday evening. It states that the company will “go through the difficult process of reducing our global workforce” to put Twitter on a “healthy course”, writes the newspaper. Reuters and the New York Times also write that they have seen the email. The e-mail has led to many having to wait patiently to find out whether they will be fired or not, writes the Washington Post.
