Mayor of Nes that four people have been found dead in a house in Skogbygda – Greater Oslo

– This is deeply tragic and not least senseless. It is a great, great sadness for the local community, says mayor of Nes Tove Nyhus (Frp). She states that the four who have been confirmed dead were residents of the municipality. – It is completely incomprehensible and difficult to deal with. You almost become disbelieving, says Nyhus. Everyone who is close to the people has been asked to contact Nes emergency room, so that they get professional help, says the mayor. – In addition to this, anyone who needs someone to talk to can contact the municipality. Mayors add that the crisis teams will also be available in the coming days. Smoke-filled home The police received a report on Tuesday at 11.16 a.m. about a “serious incident”, and all emergency services were dispatched. When they arrived, the home was full of smoke. Four people were taken out and all were declared dead. On the basis of information to the police and findings at the scene, the police have started a murder investigation. According to the police, there is a relationship between the deceased. Opening the church The mayor has asked himself the question how a small local community can handle such an incident. – There is not much else we can do other than try to take care of each other as best we can. – In this connection, it was quickly decided to open Ingeborgrud church, which is closest to the area where the serious incident happened. The church is now open to neighbors and other affected people who need someone to talk to. – There is a crisis team in place together with a priest and personnel from the church, says Nyhus. The mayor himself will go to the church this afternoon to spend some time there. After the incident, Nes municipality has also published brief information about the incident on its website.
