Marius Borg Høiby has now finished being questioned by the police. He has been in a total of eight police interviews. – He has explained himself thoroughly and in detail. He pleads guilty in line with his previous statement as well as for a threat to another man. For other matters, he does not admit criminal guilt, writes defense attorney Øyvind Bratlien in a text message to news. TV 2 mentioned the case first. Høiby denies criminal guilt for the parts of the charge where his ex-girlfriends Nora Haukland and Juliane Snekkestad have the status of offended. – Borg Høiby has explained himself about three turbulent relationships where he obviously takes his share of the responsibility for it being so. He has explained in the interrogations about abuse in close relationships from at least one of the offended ladies, writes Bratlien. – It has been a tough and difficult few weeks for everyone, which has made it difficult for him to focus fully on his own problems, explains Bratlien. In a statement to news in August, Høiby said that he has struggled with substance abuse for a long time, and that he has been treated for this in the past. He also stated that he had plans to resume this treatment. – Now that the interrogations have been completed, he will shortly begin full-time rehabilitation, as he has wished.
