At least 22 people have been injured, says the Minister of Health. The epicenter of the earthquake was in the village of Golkaya in the province of Duzce, about 20 miles east of Istanbul. You could feel it both in Istanbul and in the capital Ankara. The quake caused power outages in the area, and people ran out of buildings, Duzce mayor Faruk Özlü told TV channel NTV. The authorities are still surveying the extent of the damage. Health Minister Fahrettin Koca tweets that 22 people are injured.
