The police in Stockholm were notified just before 7pm of a shooting in Fruängen in the south of Stockholm. – At the scene we found a man with gunshot wounds. His life was not worth saving. Relatives have been notified, the police say, according to Aftonbladet. The police inform Aftonbladet that no one has been arrested, but that they are looking for the perpetrator. According to NTB, which quotes TV4, several people have been arrested. The shooting takes place shortly after a teenage boy was shot dead in nearby Västertorp. Parents came by car and wanted to pick up their children who had been at soccer practice. Wave of violence In just over two weeks, nine people have been shot and killed in Sweden. The police refer to the wave of violence as “exceptional”.
