A 54-year-old man has been sentenced to 21 years in prison for a double murder at Sandaker in Oslo last summer, writes Avisa Oslo. The verdict is in line with the prosecutor’s claim. The man has also been sentenced to pay NOK 420,000 to each of the victims’ survivors. It was in June last year that two men were found dead in a block of flats in Sandaker. They were found in their respective apartments with 31 and six stab wounds, respectively. The convicted man has pleaded guilty to the murder of one man, but denies guilt for the murder of the other, who he claims was an emergency guardian. In addition to the two murders, the 54-year-old is also charged with another case of violence, burglary and attempted burglary. He has previously been convicted of the double murder of an elderly couple at Sinsen in 1998, which the public prosecutor also emphasized.
