17 February 2023 at 16:53 Man rescued from earthquake ruins after over 11 days A man has been found alive and rescued from the ruins of a building in Hatay province in Turkey, over eleven days after the powerful earthquakes, reports Anadolu. According to the Turkish news agency, the man was found alive after lying in the rubble for 278 hours, but his condition is not known. Close to 44,000 people have so far been confirmed dead after the earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria on 6 February, 38,044 of them in Turkey. (NTB)
