Forensic technicians and the Swedish Road Administration’s accident team were reported to be on their way to the scene a little before 07:00 on Sunday morning. Their preliminary investigations indicate that it was the passenger car that crossed into the opposite lane. The driver of the train must be physically unharmed, but she is looked after by the healthcare system and employer. After the accident, the road was closed for several hours, and there was a diversion via county roads 42 and 466 for passenger cars and smaller vehicles, but not for heavy traffic.
