The man was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene by the doctor in the Air Ambulance. – The next of kin have been notified of the incident, and the police are opening a case, says Selfors. She also adds that the man lives in Helgeland. Selfors says that there should not have been any witnesses to the incident, and that they therefore do not know exactly what caused the death. – Those who met him had met him at the top, they had also found him on the way back down, says Selfors. Lukttinden is a mountain in Vefsn municipality in Nordland. It has a height of 1348 meters above sea level.
