It was at 08.27 Monday morning that the police received a report that a person had been observed in the sea outside Skuteviken. Life-saving first aid was administered at the scene, but the man was declared dead shortly after, the police said in a press release. The man will be living in Bergen. The police have no information about what happened, but there is no suspicion of a criminal act. They open a case, and the deceased must be autopsied.
