The murdered woman, who is in her 70s, was found dead in a home on Thursday last week. It was the man himself who notified the health service that his wife had died. The health service notified the police due to the circumstances surrounding the death. – The result of the preliminary autopsy report has led us to decide to charge the man with intentional murder of his wife. For the time being, we do not want to go into any more specific details, for the sake of the investigation, says prosecutor Ole Andreas Aftret in Trøndelag police district. The man has pleaded not guilty.
