23 January 2023 at 07:04 Major train delays in Eastern Norway There are delays on the Drammenbanen and Askerbanen due to signal errors between Asker and Lier. Bane Nor is working to correct the error. – We have a signal error in the Lieråsen tunnel. This means that trains will run on only one track through large parts of the tunnel. The consequence is that there will be a good number of cancellations and delays, and that the trains that do run will unfortunately be very full. It is very regrettable, says press officer Olav Nordli in Bane Nor. – Asker-Brakerøya has fewer tracks in use and the trains will run in a queue. You have to expect delays and adjustments. This is due to signal errors. Bane Nor is working to correct the error, Vy informs. The affected train lines are R14, FLY1, RE10, R13, R12, F4, F5 and RE11. Vy therefore refers travelers to other trains on its website. They do not know how long it will take to correct the error. – We are afraid that this will last through the rush, but there are people in place to fix the problems, says Nordli. On Bergensbanen, the trains running between Ål and Gol in Buskerud are also affected by signal faults. The trains run at a reduced speed on the route, and you have to expect delays, writes Vy. Here comes Bane Nor with a new update on the situation at 9 o’clock.
