15 May 2023 at 20:01 Lukashenko appeared in public again Belarus’ authoritarian leader Aleksandr Lukashenko has appeared in public again, after an absence of several days and rumors of failing health. On Monday, the state news agency Belta reported that Lukashenko had visited one of the air force’s facilities. Rumors began to swirl after a military parade in Moscow on 9 May. On the ticket he had a bandage on one arm, and afterwards flew to Minsk instead to attend a planned gathering. In the picture from the visit on Monday, he still has a bandage on his arm. Lukashenko has a weak and hoarse voice in a video that was published afterwards. (NTB)
