On 15 August, a lorry drove off the edge of a construction site at Langgangen in Porsgrunn. The lorry was secured from falling further with the help of a crane and several heavy fire engines. The driver of the truck was a man in his 70s. He was awake and conscious after the accident, but died in hospital this week.
