He climbed several notches as the best man in height, and delivered a strong 400 metres. The time 48.30 was a clear personal record for Skotheim. – It was fun, but it was absolutely terrible. It was heavy at the end, a clearly exhausted Skotheim told news. In the high jump, he delivered a jump of 2.11 metres, which no one in the field managed to beat. The effort took Skotheim up from 5th to 3rd place in the summary with a score of 4324. Simon Ehammer from Switzerland tops the decathlon with 4661 points, Italian Dario Dester is second with 4327 points. Skotheim opened the decathlon by running 10.98 in the 100 metres. It then became 7.56 meters in length. The 20-year-old was therefore up to 3rd place overall. In the shot put, he recorded 13.65 metres. (NTB/news)
