Liverpool won after a lightning-quick turnaround

League champions Vålerenga were kept in check for a long time away to Brann, but the blue-clad team woke up after the break and turned around to win 2-1 in the Toppserien. Anna Aahjem sent Brann into the lead in the first half and scored her 16th goal of the season. She is the top scorer and then acquired a four-goal gap to the VIF duo Karina Sævik and Olaug Tvedten on the top scorer list, but it was precisely the latter two who would turn the game in VIF’s favour. Four minutes apart in the second half, Sævik and Tvedten each scored a goal. – It was delicious. We struggled a bit in the first half, but we know we are good at scoring goals. Then we went out in the second half, and did exactly that, says Sævik to news. Even before the match in Bergen, Vålerenga had been named league champions, while Brann had secured the silver. VIF suffered another injury blow in the first half when a tearful Thea Bjelde had to leave the pitch with an injury. She held onto her knee. (NTB)
