Liv-Bente Ellingsen collects Justin Bieber tickets to help less fortunate families – news Trøndelag

On Sunday, the stage is set for a concert in Trondheim. Justin Bieber is the main attraction during the mini-festival Trondheim Sommertid, where artists such as Gabrielle and Mimi Webb will also perform. Over 40,000 tickets have been sold for the concert at the Leangen race track in Trondheim, but on various Facebook pages and the sales app Tise there are over a thousand tickets for sale. The reason is that it is expensive for many to travel to and stay in Trondheim at the weekend. Several are now struggling to sell their tickets at the price they themselves paid for them. Wanted to help families Liv-Bente Ellingsen from Herøy in Nordland saw how many people sold their tickets to Sunday’s Justin Bieber concert. Then she found out that she wanted to help families who are struggling financially, so that they could have the pleasure of taking their children to a concert. – I’m staying at home now and I thought why not try. Maybe I’ll end up with five tickets, and that’s nice because then I can help at least one family, says Ellingsen. I myself have a grandson who has both been on holiday in the south this year and is going to a concert on Sunday. I think about how lucky she is, while others don’t get to do anything. Many are struggling now, says Ellingsen. Posted on Facebook A few days ago, she started sending messages to people who posted tickets for sale. Then Ellingsen decided to post on Facebook. Then she got a lot of nice reactions from people who wanted to give away the tickets they couldn’t use themselves. – It touches me very much, she says. Photo: Screenshot Many hours of work On Saturday evening, she has collected around 30 tickets which are distributed to people she has come into contact with. – I received a message from a family with three children who really wanted to go to a concert. They couldn’t afford any holidays this year, and their parents have been ill this summer. They get tickets now, and can go to a concert. It is families like this that I try to capture, says Ellingsen. The tickets are distributed free of charge to those who need them. The reactions from those who get tickets make the hours of work worth it, she says. It has taken several hours of work, plus a few thousand kroner from my own pocket. – It has been used well, and I don’t regret any of it. I am so touched with every ticket I get sent. And I am happy for every person I can help.
