Oslo is one of the few places in the country where greenhouse gas emissions decreased in 2021. In total, emissions decreased by 4.6 per cent. This is shown by recent figures from the Norwegian Environment Agency. Road traffic provided by far the largest amount of emissions in the capital – as much as 57 per cent. – We see that the transition must go faster, and the municipalities have a responsibility for this together with all other social actors.
