The survey from Ifop Fiducial gives her party a support of 36 per cent. The left-wing coalition The New People’s Front is set to get 29 percent, while President Macron’s center bloc is on 21 percent. Difficult to calculate The French electoral system makes it difficult to calculate how many mandates a party can get based on poll numbers. The election takes place in two rounds: The first round is on Sunday 30 June and the second round on Sunday 7 June. Because parties can enter into alliances before the second round, there is great uncertainty regarding mandates.
