The police are on site and directing traffic. There could be a danger of new landslides, that is what they are afraid of, says Aufles. – A dangerous stretch of road The geologists depend on light to be able to work on site, and national highway 80 will therefore probably be closed for a few more hours. – It has turned out that this is a dangerous stretch of road where landslides have occurred in the past. The police quickly withdrew from the area because they know how great the danger is for new races. They have now lifted roadblocks, and have people out in the area. – We have had people in the queue who have driven past the slide in the past, but that is no longer possible. The last thing we need now is a rescue operation, says Boe Nilsson. The police apologize for the inconvenience this causes for people.
