16 December 2023 at 06:15 Large slush avalanche over E39 in Ørsta E39 on Vartdalsstranda in Ørsta municipality is closed after a large slush avalanche has occurred on the road in Flåskjer. The slide must be one meter high and have a width of approx. 40 metres, the police report on X (formerly Twitter). The road is now closed, and both the police and contractor are on their way to the city. According to NTB, the police have not been informed that anyone will be involved in the landslide.
