Crews from Norwegian Rescue Dogs, the Red Cross, Norwegian People’s Aid, a fire boat from Kristiansund and a SAR Queen helicopter have been deployed in the search for the young man. The police have issued an appeal that people in the area of Sveggen on Averøya check garages, outbuildings and cellars. – We will find out where he has gone and whether something may have happened to him or whether he is somewhere else, says operations manager at Møre og Romsdal police district, Arild Reite. The man was last seen on Saturday evening. Police operations manager Leif Arne Mork says they will search the area overnight. – There are more resources on the way, and it looks like it will be a relatively large operation, he says.
