10 August 2022 at 09:24 Lånekassa increases fixed interest rates From 1 September fixed interest rates on student loans will rise, Lånekassen writes in a press release. A loan with a three-year commitment has a fixed interest rate of 3.88 per cent, while a five-year commitment gives an interest rate of 3.986 per cent. For a fixed-rate loan with a five-year commitment, the new interest rate will be 4.054 per cent. – The fact that our fixed interest rates are going up further is connected to the fact that market interest rates have gone up, says communications director Anette Bjerke at Lånekassen. Floating interest from 1 September will be 1.972 per cent.
