Infobae’s La Mañana Wins Martín Fierro Streaming Award
The Infobae Morning, a news cycle aired weekdays from 9 AM to 12 PM through Infobae’s streaming service, received the coveted Martín Fierro Streaming Award in the Informative program category. This honor was shared with another popular cycle, Segurola y Habana (Futurock), due to an equal number of votes.
Recognition Ceremony Highlights
During the award ceremony held on Sunday night, the Infobae team, composed of notable figures like Gonzalo Sanchez, Carolina Amoroso, Cecilia Boufflet, and Ramon Indart, took to the stage to receive their recognition. A visibly emotional Sánchez expressed gratitude towards APTRA and emphasized their commitment: “Thank you APTRA, we are the streaming from Infobae; we do this with a lot of responsibility and a lot of commitment.” He continued, “We do 20th-century journalism with the tools of the future.”
Gratitude and Future Plans
In his speech, Sánchez also took a moment to acknowledge Daniel Hadad, the founder and CEO of Infobae, saying, “Thanks to Daniel Hadad who looked for us one by one to tackle this project.” He further celebrated the contributions of his team: “Thanks to Mateo, Cami, Mili, our team, our producers, Male, Fede, Vani. Those of us who are here are just a few; there is an army, a battalion. We love doing journalism like this.”
Looking ahead to 2026, Sánchez outlined plans for significant growth: “We are going from 6 hours of daily programming to 16 hours because this is the best thing that happened to us in a long time.”

Commitment to Quality Journalism
After stepping down from the stage, an excited Sánchez told Teleshow, “We are very happy because this year we worked with a lot of responsibility and commitment.” He stressed that there wasn’t a single morning they approached lightly, always emphasizing their journalistic integrity. “We discuss the topics, we try to be creative, to inform, and to entertain.”
Sánchez highlighted the importance of adapting to contemporary language and culture while being committed to maintaining high journalistic standards. He reiterated, “This gives us energy to renew the commitment next year. So next year we will go for more.”

Looking Ahead: Expanding Programming
As part of their ongoing commitment to enhance their offerings, Sánchez confirmed plans to expand programming. He emphasized, “The most important change is that we are going to increase programming hours. We are going to go from six hours a day to sixteen hours.” This expansion will integrate a variety of new programs in addition to their existing morning and evening shows.
Sánchez concluded with a powerful statement, summarizing the ethos of their project: “The key is commitment.” This focus on dedication is what sets La Mañana de Infobae apart in the evolving landscape of digital news.
