26 June 2023 at 08:39 Kongsberg to build depot for maintenance of F-35 Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace, together with the Norwegian Armed Forces, will build a new depot for maintenance of airframes on Norwegian F-35 combat aircraft at Rygge, they state in a press release. The workshop will, among other things, make future improvements and upgrades to the aircraft. The Air Force will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the main base on Ørlandet, while major repairs will be carried out in Italy.
