Poland first acquired the missile system from the Kongsberg Group in 2008, and then expanded with an additional squadron in 2014. The new delivery means that the more than ten-year collaboration will continue into the 2030s. – This is long-term work by many colleagues here at Kongsberg Gruppen. Although we have always had the feeling that things are going our way, it is of course always good to get a signature from the customer, says the CEO. According to Kongsberg Gruppen, the NSM is considered the most advanced naval target missile in the world. Here, the US Navy test-fires the missile in 2014.
