28 December 2023 at 12:56 Glimt striker selected for the African Championship Faris Pemi Moumbagna’s brilliant Bodø/Glimt season has been rewarded in the form of a place in the Cameroonian squad for the African Championship. This is confirmed by the Cameroon Football Association on Thursday. Moumbagna was brought to Glimt from Kristiansund before this year’s season, and the power forward has been a great success at Aspmyra. In 28 league games, he scored 15 times. In addition, the Cameroonian scored eight goals. In the cup semi-final against Vålerenga, Moumbagna became the big hero with an acrobatic volley. The Glimt striker made his national team debut in November. A place has also been found for André Onana in the Cameroonian squad for the African Championship.
